PowerDirector

I used Cyberlink Application Manager to download and install Powerdirector content pack essentials; Pwrdir content pack essentials 2; and Pwrdir content pack holiday. I restarted my computer, but cannot find the programs – not in downloads, videos, on the desktop, in the search box, or in C:\Program Files, even though CAM said the programs would be ready to use after restarting. Any thoughts?

I was using a trial version of PowerDirector 360 and was able to produce animated GIFs. I just purchased PowerDirector 2026 (lifetime license) and the option to create animated GIFs is no longer available. Are animated GIF exports only available in PowerDirector 360?

I'm considering PowerDirector + PhotoDirector Ultra 2025. There is an option for download or for a box with activation code. I've looked up the differences online but cannot find a simple pro and con discussion. For example, one web site said codes are passe and not necessary. Another said codes are needed to maintain security. Any recommendations would be welcome. Thanks.

Title says it all. It takes just short of 5 minutes for PD365 to load the categories of effects. The 'favorites' category appears immediately and what appears to be all the effect icons appear as normal, that is, almost immediately. Version 21 is also slow in that it takes a couple of minutes to load he effects categories. Audio, titles, transitions, overlays, templates all load quickly and normally. Any thoughts? Thanks. Barry

Is Boris effects no longer working? I still see the Boris effects option on my updated PD365, and most still work and export. However, I noticed the Boris Beauty is no longer exporting for me. From Cyberlink: "Due to the expiration of the contract with Boris FX, unfortunately we have decided to remove Boris FX plugins in new versions of PowerDirector 365 (released after July 2025), PowerDirector 2026 and later versions." So my question is why are most of the 3rd party Boris effects still available and working on my updated PD365? But unfortunately not the effect I used the most.. if the contract is expired, why are they not removed altogether? Unfortunately, access to Boris effects was the primary reason I use PD.

The exported video when the opacity is reduced to 0 (zero) or in segments where there is no clip (because I want to leave a few seconds in black) the resulting video blinks between black and the last image but as if it had opacity= 10% (that is, it looks like a shadow of the real image or a ghost) Try even the sample images by putting together a timeline as seen in the image and exporting to MP4/H.264/1920x1080/30fps/8000 Kbps.

Hi, how do I embed the shooting date and time on a video with Power Director 365? To have direct access to the date and time of shooting on my screen (at the bottom of the screen for example) when watching my video? Thank you
