PowerDirector

In PD 365 I am trying to do a voice over while playing a video karaoke track. I can record, but as soon as I plug in the USB microphone, I no longer hear the karaoke video clip. Nothing is muted. The microphone is recognized, and like I said, I can record, but I need to hear the music.

So my purchase, thanks to too many reloads, because I needed to reset the computer, stopped the program, how many reloads were never noted,and who do we talked to since i paid for stopped working did not see any info in the site about how many reloads to the same computer allowed, back up would not work as it requires....

Loss of practical functions

I've recently had a company acting for Shutterstock copyright claim videos I made a few years ago using 'copyright free' music supplied as part of my Powerdirector Suite subscription. I've contested them and my disputes have been upheld however this is time consuming. Why am I getting my videos claimed by Shutterstock after all this time? What has changed? This is not a Meta / Youtube licencing issue as I NEVER use Meta music as I always post my videos to Youtube. Perhaps someone from Customer Services may have an explanation.

Is Boris effects no longer working? I still see the Boris effects option on my updated PD365, and most still work and export. However, I noticed the Boris Beauty is no longer exporting for me. From Cyberlink: "Due to the expiration of the contract with Boris FX, unfortunately we have decided to remove Boris FX plugins in new versions of PowerDirector 365 (released after July 2025), PowerDirector 2026 and later versions." So my question is why are most of the 3rd party Boris effects still available and working on my updated PD365? But unfortunately not the effect I used the most.. if the contract is expired, why are they not removed altogether? Unfortunately, access to Boris effects was the primary reason I use PD.

In Powerdirector 2026 SPECIFICALLY, can anyone tell me what the Disc Creation (2D Disc) options are for blu-ray at 1920x1080p as far as frame rate? (Not 1080i... cannot use that) I have PD20 Ultimate which is now giving me problems burning 1920x1080/60p(28 Mbps) even though it always did it flawlessly on my windows 10 machine. I now have windows 11 and PD20 cannot seem to accurately burn at those specs. The audio track is always off, from the get-go even though the source MP4 is absolutely fine and accurate. The only other frame rate option ifor 1080p in PD20 is 24 which is not acceptable for fast motion like dance and sports which I need to film. What options for burning 1920x1080p exist in PD 2026? Thanks! I have a project due in 3 days and have already trashed 15 Verbatim discs trying to get PD20 to give me an accurate burn. :-( AuthoringWorks7 won't do anything higher than 29.97 in 1080p, so that's out. Ditto for Yuhan's tool. And I need a menu, so TSMuxer and similar are no use here. :-( Thanks!!

I used Cyberlink Application Manager to download and install Powerdirector content pack essentials; Pwrdir content pack essentials 2; and Pwrdir content pack holiday. I restarted my computer, but cannot find the programs – not in downloads, videos, on the desktop, in the search box, or in C:\Program Files, even though CAM said the programs would be ready to use after restarting. Any thoughts?

I was using a trial version of PowerDirector 360 and was able to produce animated GIFs. I just purchased PowerDirector 2026 (lifetime license) and the option to create animated GIFs is no longer available. Are animated GIF exports only available in PowerDirector 360?
