Is there a way to import large photo files for panoramas so that pan and zoom into fine details maintains resolution

I would like my video to show very fine details in photos when I pan and zoom in. I'm using very large files (~1G) that are panoramas that I created by stitching together multiple photos. They have extremely fine detail that should be visible when zooming. But currently, when I zoom in, the image is pixelated and fuzzy because the large files shrink when they are imported. How can I maintain the fine details in my image during the import process?

The maximum video export resolution that PD supports is 4K, so the maximum preview resolution is 4K on timeline as well (before you export the video project).
You can adjust the preview quality on timeline to the maximum 4K by right clicking on preview video area and select Preview Quality on the context menu.
Just be cautious that if you preview video project in such high resolution, the real-time preview might become lag easily if you added any other effects on timeline.
