Hi, I’d like to suggest a new feature that could be a great addition to PowerDVD. Would it be possible to add a censorship function that automatically detects and skips inappropriate scenes in movies—especially when children are watching? Ideally, this could be powered by AI to flag and skip sensitive content without interrupting the movie. Alternatively, a manual tagging option could let users choose which scenes to skip. Even a simple Cut feature would be helpful and Fun allowing viewers to shorten the movie and create a version that suits their preferences. Thanks, and I hope this can be considered for the next release.

What happened to the “user” who replied to every thread to show engagement but rarely answered anything? I assume he went off CL payroll and is now no longer a responding mouthpiece. Funny what money does! I wonder if any of the budding stars posting will become the forums new fake user advocate? Terrible forum with no real improvements for 2 years since release and PowerDirector software that has lost so many features, a plethora of bugs, and really lost engagement with the user community. CL needs to take note, or in CL speak, delete the thread for being true! Maybe PowerDirector 2026 in a week will highlight the vast improvements (like elimination of all BorisFX) and correct all the bugs.

Dear CyberLink Support Team, I’m writing to express my concern regarding the removal of the ability to upload templates directly to DirectorZone from PowerDirector. As a long-time user and contributor, I’ve valued DirectorZone as a creative hub and community resource. The recent change has significantly impacted my workflow and ability to share content with fellow creators. What’s especially confusing is that while the majority of users appear to have lost access to this feature, I’ve observed that at least one creator continues to upload new templates. This inconsistency raises questions about whether the feature has been fully deprecated, selectively restricted, or if alternative upload methods exist that have not been communicated publicly. Could you please clarify the following: Has the upload feature been officially discontinued for all users? If not, what criteria determine who retains access? Are there any alternative methods available for uploading content to DirectorZone? If the removal was unintentional or part of a phased update, I respectfully request that CyberLink consider reinstating this functionality or providing a clear path for creators to continue contributing. I believe it would be more logical to replace the current blue theme with a light and dark option that adjusts automatically based on the time of day. (According to the time displayed by Windows.) Thanks
