No Audio Mixer Update - New Version 22.1.2620.0
Michael Küpper
I have just installed the latest version of PD and I must say that it is still unusuable for video editing because I still can't adjust the volume of individual video clips precisely. The audio mixer is still not able to precisely control the volume of individual clips. This was much better with the PD21 version. Fortunately, I still have the previous version that I can use for video editing!!!
When will the audio mixer finally be available again in the old quality? If you make mistakes, dear CyberLink people, you should acknowledge them and fix them!!!
It's frustrating!

Hello, I'm using the button "Keyframe" and then "Volume". In there there is a slider to adjust with precision the voulume inside a clip. Regards!
Michael Küpper
Stefano S. I know that this works, but with the Audio Mixer it was by far more comfortable - bt the Audio Mixer has been stripped of this function without any reason. Regards!

Stefano S. There is a little trick with the audio adjustment - you can change the height of the track in the main interface. Place cursor on the left controls and just between tracks, and a little arrow appears. Then drag that to desired height. Now, volume can get fine adjustment. Also, Audio Director is ausome! It removes background noise and music and much more.
Michael Küpper
Cla55ica OftheLight Yes, there are many ways to adjust audio. But the most comfortable way via Audio mixer has been removed - obviously without any good reason. Until this function is back, I will edit my videos with PD21 ultimate (plus Audio Director). With this version I can do everything I want to do.

We appreciate your feedback, and already delivered the suggestion/request again to the product team as the product improvement reference.

I adjust the volume of individual clips with the line on the timeline or the Volume/Fade feature in the edit panel. Don't they work for you?
Michael Küpper
OO Lee This works, but it is extremely tedious to make small volume changes with it. Especially if you want to set the volume exactly the same at several different points in a clip, it is downright ridiculous to have to move this line up and down with the mouse. In the last version PD 21 this was (or still is, if you bought this version like me) much more convenient with the large slider of the Audio Mixer.

Same! I am so frustrated. I would love the old version back!

This is the main thing holding me back from upgrading. I'm currently looking into new software because they probably won't fix it.
