Video clips gone from timeline !

Today I updated PD 365 to version 24.3.1601. Now my project on which I spent several hours has lost all the video clips in the timeline. Only the audio track with some music remains. I tried rolling back to the 2 previous versions but that didn't fix the issue. I've been using PD for the last 4 years and nothing like this ever happened before. Any suggestions?

the update was Optional, you could have either saved the project, or finished and updated later, why roll back two versions whn the work was done in the present. agree talk with support they seem to no longer reply here

According to your description, it seems the problem has little connections to the PD version you use.
