Subtitling is broken!

What imbecile designed the changes to the subtitling in Power Director? What used to take a click or two now takes five or six across two option panels. That's of course if the changes you made actually stick. I've just edited and changed the colour of some of subtitles in my video and NONE of them were changed. That is after SEEING the changes in the preview window. They just revert back. Sure if you tick the button 'Apply to all subtitles' they will save but the colour changes but they save to EVERY subtitle even the ones I don't want to change.
It's bad enough that I now have to use 'credits' to pay extra for subtitling, something which has been a part of Power Director (and every other video editor since the turn of the millenium,} they replace something which worked with something so broken it's almost unusable.
I'm deaf and I make videos for other deaf people. Subtitles are not 'feature' to be monitised, they are an important accessibility tool to ensure media access is inclusive. This will be the last time I give this company money for a product that with every update feels more like a mobile phone game with predatory microtransactions than the serious video editing tool I pay over £100 a year to use.

Unfortunately, the tech companies become all charging the AI features per use due to the shortage of data centers and increasing expenses on maintaining the AI servers.
Regarding the subtitles concern, you means that the preview does not reflect what you edited in the subtitles room unless ticking the apply to all option?
I just tried in a small project with sample medias, the subtitle editing and its preview work fine in real time.
It might be an issue with certain projects you are editing. Try cleaning cache in the settings > Media Cache page, and reboot to check if the preview works after adjusting the subtitles.
If it doesn't work, I suggest you contact cyberlink support to check it out further.

QC 2.0 The issue seems to be that it sometimes doesn't save the changes to font properties (colour) or text changes. It's a little weird because there are two versions of the text, one in the 'subtitle' panel which shows timing and text per subtitle and one in the 'properties' panel. You can edit either or both of them. Sometimes it updates in one but not in the other so shows the incorrect version in preview window. Sure you can brute force it to display properly but that means clearing the cache (deleting the shadow files) but this is a program that costs over 100 quid. One expects better for that investment.
The workaround I have found is to force a save by making a change that the program can't ignore like altering the timing of subtitle. This seems to trigger a save.
Support have been less than useless so far with this. They tell me to update to the latest build but if I do, I lose 100s of Soundstripe audio tracks on which I rely and Soundstripe was a major factor in deciding to persevere with this program despite the myriad bugs and over monitisation. Support could offer no explanation for the 'lost' audio files either.

Ian Bean hi, as also I had many music lost so i decided to export out of the program all music or video or image from sutterstock or soundstrip... so I am sure to have for ever. it's the only way.
