Ripple Transition broken after output.
Steven Williams
Although the Ripple transition seems to work as usual during editing, after producing, the output clearly badly glitches when this transition is being used.

I have to use a range of techniques when I see a mis-match between preview and exported file.
The one currently in favour is to;
save and exit the project,
wait until PowerDirector is ready to let you back in,
start a new project,
under "Settings -> Media Cache" Manually delete all files and OK that.
back under "File -> Open Recent Projects" to get your project and then immediately export.
[Anecdotally, I find exporting this way (I use hardware encoding) is also a lot quicker than leaving the media cache in place. I can't work out why this should be.]
[I also get why tracking these issues down is so difficult as they are often installation/project specific and unlikely to affect test projects in a test environment]

Nicholas Stanford Very odd, it's repaired itself. Perhaps cyberlink sent out one of those background updates that magically come through from time to time

Have you tried switch the encoding to software encoder on the export dialog > Advanced? It is one of the quickest way to verify the problems if any occurred in the exported video but not exists in preview on timeline.
