Powerdirector's pan and zoom feature is not working! I've used this feature for several years without issues, but recently it started stretching and distorting my video. Check out the annyoing crap here: https://youtu.be/Sc6Y3hUi-00

Magnus- So annoying. Was working fine and now not. I am using Power365 for Mac. Pan and Zoom works fine when editing...then distorts at export. Assuming this is a massive issue/bug given amount of Cyberlink users editing for 9:16 Social media vids?

Same for me using 2504, but I find that changing Aspect Ratio to Freeform in the PZ window gets round the distortion but leaves some size adjustment to be done in the main preview. Not an elegant workaround but might help if you've projects currently on the go??

VN800 Rider: Thanks for the advice Adrian! That suggestions actually (almost) works. It's soo strange, but if I have lets say 10 clips on the timeline - then changing the aspect ratio in pan and zoom works on about half of the clips. It's like the program decides that "hey, you can't fool me, I will continue messing up your clips!" after I have successfully gotten a few clips to looks alright by using the freeform aspect ratio. I am using the exact same method and it works a few times and then it stops working. It's just one of many weird bugs that I get with the Cyberlink software. :/

VN800 Rider: I did a new video and it's just super strange. I tried your workaround and it works...sometimes! :-P Check it out if you have the time. https://youtu.be/yjzUDOFwM9I

Magnus Söderbom: As you say - a little random. I found that also, but didn't go any further because it's not a very good workaround and didn't know if it was going to be useful !

Hello,
Thanks for the post and then video. I don't get the same results with any of my sample files in the latest version.
Please send your project to CyberLink Technical Support so they can look at it to see what's happening:
Once sent, respond with your CS ticket number and I can pass it along.
Cheers

CyberLink Moderator: Ticket here: CS002760932 I have tried starting fresh projects, and I get the same result regardless. It's really weird and it started happening just a few updates ago. It's super annoying because I can't produce 9/16 videos anymore.

CyberLink Moderator: I tried the workaround that Adrian suggested and the results are quite weird and highlights something really troublesome with the software: https://youtu.be/yjzUDOFwM9I

CyberLink Moderator: I have tried to find a work around for the problem, but I am only disovering more and more aspects of this bug. I have created a whole playlist of videos, highlighting said aspects, in order to send it to Cyberlink. If interested, it can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3Zs_1fdj6CBF64GX52sL4yny_JWN2iT7

CyberLink Moderator Any update on the fix here? Has rendered the programme almost unusable for any project not using raw vid in desired framing or aspect.
