No PowerPoint

Just found out from another user that power point is no longer supported. This is totally unacceptable as I use these videos for education purposes and power point is a big part of it. Although I really enjoy using this program, I am going to have to switch to another that supports this particular feature. Don't know whose idea this was but it was really bad!!!!

G'day Philip et al -
PDR could only ever import the finished slides from a PowerPoint presentation, in the same way Ash & Bradley described in this thread. Another option, given that PDR365/2024 cannot import a PP as slides, is to use the Record function in PP to create a full resolution .mp4... which will include all your text & image transitions. A better option in my view.

I ended up opening the PowerPoint, saving as jpg for all slides. Then importing the folder into media. Then I can add them where I want.

Hi,
When you are done editing your Powerpoint slides, you can just save them as photos. Powerdirector would convert them to jpg, but in Powerpoint you can save as BMP, which are better quality. Yes an extra step, but only 5 seconds for better quality images that you can import into Powerdirector.
