I would like to upgrade from v 15 but don't want a subscription. Can I still purchase a v19 etc.?

Version 19 was the last best PD. I miss it terribly, particularly the New Blue Titler plugin which was ELIMINATED when I upgraded to 20. Thanks for nuthin' CL.

BarryTheCrab 6000+ posts since PD5, I have version 20 Ultimate and so I'm curious: what was the New Blue Titler plugin? (mine is the disc version of 20, btw, if that makes a difference)

Elaine B., New Blue has a Title maker plugin that was an absolute GEM to use. The Cyberlink version was a bit aged and limited than the full NB Titler, but it was heads above anything CL offers on their own. I'll add the fact that upgrading past V19 also borked many of the other New Blue plugins I had, as well as Prodad. Cyberlink never ever got the plugins to play nice. I'm saying it again, Cyberlink is a sales company that has video editing as it's products. It used to be a video editing products company with a sales division.

You should try Davinci Resolve - completely free.

I have PD21 Ultimate and was going to get the next perpetual version (PD2024). Then I started reading about all the ways it had been changed (for the worse), so I'm sticking with what I have. You can still find PD21 Ultimate online with a Google search, but Amazon shows it unavailable.

Maybe on Amazon or something, you can check there. There is non subscription versions of Powerdirector 22. You can get the Ultimate version via this: https://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector-video-editing-software/pricing_en_US.html
