I wish I could put my downloaded stock media into seperate folders for each project.

This is essential for anyone serious about using PowerDirector.

Hi Seth -
As I'm typing this, I realise it's one of the silliest answers I've provided on these forums.
There is a way to do that, but it involves a bit of mucking round.
Once you've downloaded your stock media save your project. Don't put them in the timeline yet. Now go to File > Pack Project Materials & designate a folder. When you open the folder, the media files will have meaningless names like "pdze73bc701649ac1020b035bc538b472db" but they're actually .mov or .jpeg files.
Just rename them to xxx.mov or xxx.jpeg and you'll have the files you want in a project folder. You'll then have to go through the business of helping PDR locate the files when you open the project again.
Yep - I know - silly.
Cheers - Tony

Hi,
I think the stock media is always in its own folder that is accessible in every project because it cannot be used outside of Powerdirector according to the user license agreement, i.e. it is keep in a hidden folder and can't be moved.
