Chapter Markers greyed out under tools menu

Hi folks. I recently upgraded to annual subscription of Power Director 365, but cannot access the chapter room as the Chapter Markers button is greyed out. Can anybody help. Its vital for my current project as the video is long and needs breaking up.

Hi Ash, thank you for your reply. I've just uploaded a screenshot showing the grayed out Chapter Marker button. The problem persists with clips on the track. Do you have any other suggestions perhaps?

Hi,
It only seems to be greyed out when there are no clips on the timeline. Could this be the case? If not, maybe share a screen capture with Screen Recorder?

Ashley Williams: Sorry Ash, I'm new to this. I replied to my own submission. Just realised I need to be replying to you. As I said above, thank you. But the screenshot shows the grayed out Chapter marker button even though there are clips on the track. Would be open to any other suggestions thank you.

Hi again Ash. Solved the problem. It occurred to me that maybe it was happening because of the aspect ratio - which is currently 9:16 (as the video was done on mobile phone in vertical position, sadly). I changed it to 16:9 - which is unworkable for this particular project - but low and behold the chapter markers are there......can't believe it!!!! After so many hours of trying to figure it out, there it is!!!
