Can SD video be produced at rec.601?

I do most of my videos as standard definition, I capture and filter VHS as 720x480, 4:2:2, rec.601.
The new 365 only seems to produce 709, which is really for HD video. This alters the colors a little. Can anyone produce an MP4-5 at .601?

IMO, Rec.601 is basically a legacy SD color space that mainly existed for MPEG-2 workflows like DVD.
H.264 rarely uses Rec.601 in real-world pipelines, so it’s not surprising at all that PD doesn’t let you pick it although you can select SD resolution to export a H.264 video. That option is simply irrelevant for modern encoding targets.

Hi Barry,
What are you using to confirm the color space on your exported file is rec.709? Or are you going by the eye test? I tried using MediaInfo, but it doesn't provide that info.

Ashley Williams I see it in the Produce UI at the bottom. I have been trying to find a utility that will tell me what a file is, but after poking around this PD365, I think I'm disappointed. Even the transition module is unrecognizable and makes no sense. I've got 28 more days to tinker.
