Boris effects questions

Is Boris effects no longer working? I still see the Boris effects option on my updated PD365, and most still work and export. However, I noticed the Boris Beauty is no longer exporting for me.
From Cyberlink: "Due to the expiration of the contract with Boris FX, unfortunately we have decided to remove Boris FX plugins in new versions of PowerDirector 365 (released after July 2025), PowerDirector 2026 and later versions."
So my question is why are most of the 3rd party Boris effects still available and working on my updated PD365? But unfortunately not the effect I used the most.. if the contract is expired, why are they not removed altogether?
Unfortunately, access to Boris effects was the primary reason I use PD.

Hi,
I see you asked the same question on the Powerdirector subreddit and then just copied and pasted it here. The person that answered you seems to be the right answer. The contract ended, but you'll need to go into to Windows and manually uninstall them to remove them from the UI.

Ah yes, New Blue, Boris, Smartsound, contracts, expire, the UI is removed or disabled, and the result is a lesser product. Peak PD was version 19, and 20 is a runner-up, then...no joy.
