Virtual copies not exporting

Using PhotoDirector 14 , I want to export all my photos, including virtual copies, using the 'Different Folder but Maintain Original Structure' option, but when I do the virtual copies don't export. So I then have to manually select the virtual copies (it's difficult to even find them - there is no Virtual Copy filter, though I can flag and then filter) and then export them to the same location. Am I missing something? Is there a better way? I've got over a hundred Virtual Copies in multiple folders.
I note if I choose "Different Folder" only (instead of 'Different Folder but Maintain Original Structure') the virtual copies do export, but of course I then lose the folder structure.

Sigh. It's a bit like, 'Have you tried turning it it off and on again?'. I know the changes aren't applied directly. That's not the issue. I guess it works like it works. Ta

Correction - only the virtual copies export, not the original copies. And if I have multiple virtual copies, only the last one exports. So it's potentially worse than I thought. Why can't they all be exported?

Sven Johanson Hi,
This is the expected behavior. The changes you make are not applied directly on the photos in your folders. They need to be exported to be applied. See the note here:
Most photo editing software behaves the same way.
