I have around 40,000 images stored on an external drive. They are pretty well organised in folders so I can usually find what I want to view, e.g. my 2018 campervan trip to Morocco. Many of the images have tags and I am adding more all the time.

What I would like to do is search for images with specific tags - e.g. tag;campervan; food; sally – which will find all the images with; campervan and food and sally. Having found these images I would like to show them as a temporary slideshow, without copying the images to another folder.

I use PhotoDirector 9 to process and tag images. I can see the tags in Windows Explore for the images exported from PhotoDirector after processing and tagging.

The simplest method I have found for searching tags and making an instant temporary slideshow is Canon Image Browser EX but the tags added in PD are not shown. I thought once an image’s metadata is updated this would be visible in any photo program.
