Rotating an image in Photodirector 365 by individual degrees

As usual, I find help, searching and support (and features) so cumbersome and lacking. I am sorry, not trying to be negative. But every time I have a relatively basic objective, seems I either cannot find how to do it or its not supported.
In this case, I have a layer I want to rotate by individual degrees, not snapping to angles much less only 90 degrees. I would really love it if it offered any angle, because I might find I need a portion of a degree. Still, after an hour, cannot find anything useful, helpful OR on even on topic, much less here.
For comparison, I still have/use Corel Photopaint and CorelDraw 6 from 1995. It can do it!!!! All you do is click the object 2X to get rotate, and the further away from the rotate anchor you pull your mouse, the more FINE the degree rotation you can achieve. I've been hoping NOT to have to port my layer to .tiff, open in Corel, rotate, export, then re-import to Cyberlink and re-select and remove the background but wow, I would be soooo far ahead by now.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

G'day Kip -
There is a manual rotation tool in Edit > Expert > Layers, but it doesn't do what you need (i.e. rotate by defined degrees). I know what you mean about other drawing apps - even the free Paint.NET has specific rotation tools (down to 1/100th of a degree.
You've probably already found this help file reference - https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/photodirector/2024/pc/enu/08_05_01_rotate_tool.html?q=rotate+layer
For your purposes, you'll probably have to rotate in Corel or another app.
