Just Eddit and Exit (save in the same File)

Why can't I just edit an image and quit the program without it asking me if I want to save it under a different file name?? ?$#@$ It's supposed to save it under the same file that I opened it under!!! How on Earth do I get this program to always save in the opened file?? Other programs do that too! If that doesn't work, my subscription will be cancelled immediately, because it's really a Hassle, especially if you have to save each image separately! And I don't want to create a library, I just want to edit directly from the disk!

What program let's you make changes to an image without saving it? I don't think that is a thing. After you make adjustments to the file, use the Ctrl+S hotkeys to save on top of the old file. If in the Edit window, you have to use save as because the layers on the original file have to be blended together to create a new image.
