how do i crop photo(s) without losing/merging all layers into 1 & without changing the aspect ratio of my canvas? I don't think its possible, but it should be a thing worth looking into.

(Also how do I even change the aspect ratio of my canvas in the first place?)

I use photodirector mainly for YouTube Thumbnails,

I don't want to lose all my other photos in my project when i crop something in the adjustment tab. I know there is work arounds like saving the project before hand, or copy and pasting, however that is very very tedious and feels like it could be avoided.

Let me know if others have complained about this issue.
