I'd love to see a dedicated Caption Tool added to PhotoDirector that would allow users to:
  • Enter a caption directly in PhotoDirector
  • Optionally pull the caption from IPTC metadata (Caption/Description, Title, Keywords)
  • Display the caption as visible text on the photo
  • Export the captioned photo so the text stays attached
  • Or optionally pass the caption into PowerDirector as editable text linked to the photo
This would save hours of work for anyone dealing with large batches of photos and would make PhotoDirector + PowerDirector a much more powerful combination for storytelling projects.
Why It Matters
For projects with hundreds of photos, manually adding captions is not practical. A real caption system would streamline workflows for:
  • Family history slideshows
  • Anniversary or memorial videos
  • Travel albums
