Splitting Audio files into multi parts is way to big of a pain.

So it would seem you only have a cut feature. The split feature in PowerDirector is much more intuitive and easier to use. Seems like I should just only purchase PowerDirector and not the suite since the other tools just don't measure up. I can use Audacity, WavePad or any number of other tools to split a long Audio file into Chapters or at the very least into say every 10 mins for my audio books. I mean come on there is even a powershell script out there that works better call splitchapters.ps1 that can do this and this software cannot? Maybe I am blind but this seems to be missing completely.

You can use the split took in the record and mix rooms. I would think it is not needed as much in the edit room, because you don't usually make a single split when fixing or enhancing audio.
Maybe try editing the audio books in the mix room? It is designed more for what you are doing I think
