The program does not play mkv files with 4k resolution without giving any error message. If you select open with PowerDVD you are on the powerDVD home screen but the video does not start. If you select the file from the power DVD screen and press the play button, the video will not start. I tried with different videos to no avail, of course I tried with other open source players (VLC, Mpc, Potplayer) that regularly view the video.
